The Reid Mansion is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom 2,597 sq ft home, lovingly restored.

About the Reid Mansion

The main house was built in 1891 for $100, according to The Columbian Newspaper from 1892. This was done after Henry Miller purchased the building lot from the Northern International Improvement Company, which helped to develop the railroad and the surrounding town of Columbia Falls. The west wing, which includes the kitchen and laundry room, were added on some time later. The main house still has many of its original interior details, like stained glass built-in cabinets, a set of wooden double pocket doors, original flooring, original molding details and leaded glass transom windows above the doors.

Music from the 1800s

In one of the downstairs rooms sits an Emerson upright piano. It was assembled between 1891 and 1900 in the house, and hasn’t moved since. It has ivory keys and beautiful wood details that have been recently restored to its full, functioning glory!
